I worked with Orange TV & divertissement which is a french company that offers mobile networks and communications. As part of their offer, they have a service that is available across TV and mobile devices and screen sizes. This proves to be an important consideration when delivering content. As a consultant, I participated in the creation of a design system, defining elements and components that could be reused. We created design guides to help other designers work together and to maintain consistency. We identified accessibility issues and limits of readability. During this project, we went from a pre-existing template used by a small team of production to collaboration with other UI and UX designers and UX Writers. The Design System was born from trial and error. Certainly, today it no longer looks like it did 2020.
Before my arrival, there was not much collaboration nor standardisation. Production was chaotic and the sharing of work was inconsistent and irregular. Dare I say that?
